A work in progress - the colours are a bit off from the flash and average lighting in use here.

I'm happy with the wing but unless the stuffing stage makes it magically improve I might just remodel the tail if I make any more. I'm using the pattern from a magazine but the tail's a bit... ugly.

There were other crafts today, but as I said on FB, they'll have to wait.

You're a fantastic sister and a great friend too. I'm really glad we get on so well. I see many siblings that don't, and every time I realise how lucky I am to have a sister like you.

I really admire how well you are able to focus on your writing and consistently get it done. I hope someday I'll develop the ability to do that.

Really? Well it could work out yet. Time will tell. I didn't get to do any more work on it today.

I think it's fantastic that despite some really tough times and difficult circumstances you just keep on with it and making the most of things. I think that's admirable.
