A mystery

Today I received a red envelope in the mail. It was posted in Adelaide with no return address given. It contained only a poem, handwritten, but otherwise no indication of who sent it. It is as follows.

IF EVER ALIENS

If ever aliens should visit the earth,
with googly eyes and skin bright green,
as they come down to London,
to visit the Queen,
We'll have one thing in common,
It's an absolute cert,
It won't be our hairstyles,
Or the cut of our shirt,
Our relations in Eastbourne,
Or choice of dessert.
It'll be that our babies,
Though black, green or pink,
Have one thing in common:
They, all of them, STINK!

I am perplexed.

Yes it was. My sister recieved an identical letter. And neither I, nor anyone I can think of who would have my address (in adelaide at least) has recently had a baby.

*chuckle* Great poem!
Admit it, how often does alien poetry arrive in the mail? What a weird and wonderful whimsy!
