20/20 Hindsight

Today it's more catchup, with a substantial dose of sisterly pride. Tuesday and Wednesday...



After work on Tuesday I went by home (home-where-parents-are as opposed to home-where-I-live-now, and keeping those distinct is all kinds of fun) to pick up a few things I'd forgotten - office chair, towels, that kind of thing (how I forgot an item of furniture I may never know) and took a picture of one of the roses.



On Wednesday Amy graduated from her Bachelor of Arts with majors in German and Classics. Music degree to follow shortly. That should give us another opportunity to be very proud of her :)

This photo's had a little personal details privacy edit but an unmodified version still exists, fear not.

My computer's dismantled and half an hour away.... but I managed to borrow a laptop to bring you a photo tonight. Had a night out with friends for Tash's birthday - after the restaurant several of us got ice cream and went for a walk on the jetty. All very nice :)

Moved two more carloads of stuff today... this is part of the contents of one of my new rooms. You can tell it's mine - visible are books, video games and console bits, craft materials, a miniature purple wheelie bin and a dragon.

So... pending approval I'll be moving very soon. Happy, sad, scared and excited all in one. I should have taken a picture when I went to look at the place I'll be going to, but I just didn't think of it at the time, too much else going through my head. I'll be getting two rooms as one would mean I'd have to give up my crafting, or scale it back in a huge way. Not happening. It'll also mean I'm not cramped - and all very affordably done too, which is great. The floor coverings are somewhat ugly but not as bad as I feared. I will combat this with rugs. The floors won't know what hit them...

Anyhow. I should *try* to sleep. I'll see how that goes...
