20/20 Hindsight

An earring I made this morning. As there's a technique in there I haven't used much before it took quite a while to get it just right. Even so, next time I'd use smaller crimps. I haven't made its partner yet. I think I'll put that off until next year...

Today I thought I'd use a midnight photo, but it occured to me that it'd actually be tomorrow (not to mention next year). I don't want to leave the party to upload an earlier shot then, so instead, here's something I've worked on this morning. I finished the set with the brown necklace from yesterday - I added in an amber crystal and some wire-wrapped loops (I need practice on those x.x) and it has a matching bracelet and earrings.

I suppose it's traditional to do a yearly wrap-up but all I can really say is although I haven't yet achieved some of the things I'm aiming for it's been a good year, and I've learnt a lot about... a lot, despite not actually studying formally at all. I'll keep working on those longer-term goals next year, and I will post my resolutions tomorrow to let you know what else I'd like to achieve.
