Amy and I went to see Megamind tonight. It was really enjoyable - it had some weaknesses but we both laughed our way through it - and that is more than enough for me! I really wish I'd seen Despicable Me while it was in cinemas so I could compare them a little. I'll have to wait for the DVD now.

After that we went to the Gilbert Street Hotel and had tasty cider. This one was a bit sweeter than what I'd usually choose, but still nice. It's great to see more labels around. When I first returned home after I discovered cider when I was in Britain I was disappointed to find we only had Strongbow. Now we have a number of international, local and boutique brands popping up. Variety is good.
