(no subject)

I didn't do a great deal today, largely owing to a nasty cold that I hope to kick by the end of the weekend, but I can show you how our vegetable garden is progressing. Nothing's ready to harvest yet, but it's all coming along nicely. The Cos lettuce in particular is going crazy.

This is our Easter haul. As a child I used to DREAM of piles of chocolate this big but never saw one until this year. Now my train of thought goes more like "Uggh... how will we ever EAT all of that?"

Not that we don't appreciate it. We do. Chocolate is awesome. But this may take a lot of time to get to the bottom of - under the bigger eggs there is a very substantial stash of small and mediums. I've already eaten more chocolate today than I'd normally see in several weeks!

We had a great day though - an Easter BBQ lunch with Mum's family, then a roast dinner with Barnaby's. Definitely a good day, though I may not need to eat for the rest of the long weekend...
