I've seen bead and button closures before and wanted to give them a go - and today I had a chance to do just that. I've made five of these bracelets so far, all have buttons for closures, all bar the one shown use beads for the main strand. I thought that by using really nice buttons here the closure could be a feature instead of just being functional.

Of course, since then I've had an idea to improve them - though I'm not sure it'll work with the button version as I use a different threading material and method to make them sit the way I want.

Do you like these? Some of them are gifts, but not all... I hope to do proper photography of them later in the week.
