Tonight I made a pencil case... this one follows the tutorial found here with modifications to the dimensions. The matryoshka doll fabric was just too pretty not to do something with.
I plan on trying to do some lined versions using the colours in the background. One is partially made but I need to get interfacing before I go further. Probably more zips too. After that I might try piecing some, maybe lining and quilting them too. All of these techniques are new to me, and I will work out the technique as I go. I have some fairly strong ideas on that. I don't think it should be particularly difficult... but to say that is just inviting trouble, isn't it?
