The first photo, in honor of Monday, was taken back in April on Hallet Cove beach. It was really a fantastic visit to the beach (bar one slight complication that shall not be spoken of, but caused no long term trouble). I must go down there again sometime. Preferably soon. I was thinking about it on Monday, and as I had a double-shift day... it'll have to do. I have another double shift on Thursday, so that may yet be another flashback ^.^;
Today's photo is of some of the orchids that mum grows. Some are flowering now and the others are putting up a lot of flower spikes. There seems to be another one every time I look. Like roses, orchids are a gardening passion Grandma, Grandpa and Mum shared, and mum continues. They always look fantastic, though they can be a fair bit of work. It's great to watch them emerge every year.
