Here is the Flying Cloud... a glass ship in a bottle that's been in the house since before I turned up. Also a more recent ship in a light globe...



Please excuse the fairly low-effort photos just lately. Getting a lot of work hours and feeling quite exhausted. I've been going for showing things that are meaningful instead of playing with angles and such...

I have a neat ship in a bottle like the glass one that my great grandfather gave me. Its interesting and very neat. I dont know how they do that exactly, I assume create the glass ship then blow a bottle around it. MIne is sitting at home with some other interesting memorabilia I have. Neat picture :D

Mum and Dad said that the place they did this one they make the boats inside of the bottle - I'm not sure but I think the bottom piece might be partially made beforehand. Nevertheless, it blows the mind. I cannot begin to imagine the sheer level of skill required.
