A pencil casey thing I made this evening and a gnome I made a while ago. Substantially improved the pencil case this time though I don't like the dimensions of it as much as the first. I have some more ideas I must try out some time. This one is lined and has a layer of iron-on interfacing between the two layers of fabric to give it a bit more strength.

Today I worked at the family business, then on to one of the libraries. It was quite quiet there but there is always work to do, so I kept out of trouble :) Amy and I went out for dinner, we went to the Maid of Auckland, which has changed menu and such recently. It was not bad at all. The mango and chicken salad was delicious.

So after that I watched wild wild west on TV, did some crafts... now I should sleep.

( Orange Juice and Cookies )

This morning I finished off a book I borrowed for light reading - 'Spellbinder' by Helen Stringer. It wasn't bad and had some interesting ideas and decent pacing, though the deus ex machinas were a bit frequent and overly convenient.

Amy made fresh orange juice, which was delicious. I baked choconana muffins, which I must not have made in well over ten years, but thought of the other day so dug out the recipe. I also made two flavours of gluten-free cookies; apricot and almond, and date.

I also played netball, which was fun (as it generally is). That's more or less my day, really. And now I'm exhausted...
