I bought a rather ugly seventies necklace at an op-shop the other day (it's pictured below). Despite ugliness, it did have some nice cage beads on it. So I cut a couple of them loose and turned them into a pair of earrings. Hooray for upcycling! I think they look a whole lot better now.
Admittedly this photo was taken AFTER I chopped out some links. I didn't think to take a before photo. The green background makes the necklace look better than it does IRL.

I also made a couple more bracelets, I'll put them on etsy and my related facebook page soon. I'm thrilled with the way they came out, but I need better light for etsy photography!
P.S. The facebook page was linked here a couple days ago and can be re-linked if anyone wants it. Please do like the page, and invite anyone you think might be interested. When I reach 50 fans of the page I'll be giving away something to a randomly selected fan of the page :)
